Dear friend, Before we head into Giving Tuesday, I want to pause and simply say thank you. Because of your generosity, we are already over halfway to our goal of filling 500 stockings for children with incarcerated parents. Every year I’m blown away by the way our community shows up—not just with gifts, but with compassion, generosity, and hope for families who often feel forgotten during the holidays. I’ve seen the faces of the kids who receive these stockings. I’ve met their parents. Your kindness does far more than fill a bag with toys—it reminds these families that they are not alone, and that their children deserve joy. As we approach the end of the year, I’m reflecting on how much your support has made possible at Power2Parent. And next week, I’ll be sharing some of the incredible things you helped accomplish this year—and the opportunities ahead in 2026. But for today, I simply want you to know how grateful I am for you. Make a Child Smile This Christmas

Help us fill over 500 stockings!

We are collecting 500 stockings! Power2Parent is partnering again with Hope for Prisoners to bring joy and connection to families this holiday season. Each year, we fill Christmas stockings for children who have a parent currently incarcerated. For many of these kids, this small gift is a reminder that they are seen, loved, and not forgotten. Our goal is to fill 500 stockings for children of incarcerated parents, bringing hope and joy to families during this Christmas season. Each stocking is valued at about $25 and will be delivered to children right here in our community. We would love for you to join us. There are two ways to give: Fill a stocking: Scan the QR code or click this link. Choose a child and sign up to fill a stocking. Donate: Click this link to donate any amount, and we’ll make sure a stocking is filled on your behalf. We will be collecting stockings through December 3rd at Life Baptist Church. 6316 S. Dear Friends and Families, We have another opportunity to ensure Nevada’s classrooms remain safe and professional. ⚠️ Timeline of Events September: Several CCSD teachers posted violent, celebratory messages online. Superintendent Ebert acted quickly, removing those teachers from classrooms pending investigation. Parents flooded the CCSD School Board meeting, demanding the district uphold its own policies and Nevada law by terminating educators who glorify violence. Watch Power2Parent testify here » Now, on October 8 at 9:00 a.m., the Nevada State Board of Education meets in Las Vegas. This is the community’s opportunity to demand the Board follow NRS 391.330 and NRS 391.750, which allow for the revocation of teaching licenses for immoral or unprofessional conduct. 📍 Meeting Details Date: Wednesday, October 8 Time: 9:00 a.m. Location: Nevada Department of Education — 2080 E.
