Join us to testify in support of the Opportunity Scholarship!

Dear Powerful Parents and Community Members,

600 students being served by the Opportunity Scholarship Program are in danger of losing their scholarships just as school is starting across the state. Governor Lombardo has proposed $3.1 million in unallocated COVID relief funds to help save the scholarship that has been a lifeline for many low income families.

Wednesday, August 9th at 9a, we will be gathering at the Legislative Building in Carson City and in Las Vegas at the Grant Sawyer building to show our support for these students, and this vital program. We will let lawmakers know that parents want to choose the classroom that is best for their children and support kids who are losing scholarships.

1) Join us to testify in person in Carson City or Las Vegas:

Room 3137 of the Legislative Building, 401 S. Carson St., Carson City, NV.
Room 4406 of the Grant Sawyer State Office Building, 555 E. Washington Ave., Las Vegas, NV.

2) Send your testimony in PDF form to FC@lcb.state.nv.us anytime before, during, or after the meeting.
