| Guy Paul Nohra has been an avid supporter of Power2Parent since becoming acquainted with the organization in 2022. During this time, Nohra, a successful entrepreneur within the biotech field, was running for governor here in Nevada. He met CEO Erin Phillips at a Basque Fry and has since invested in Power2Parent on multiple fronts, donating as well as serving on the organization’s Board of Directors. In your mind, what makes Power2Parent a worthy organization to be involved with? Nohra: At this time, given the importance of education for our children with the addition of Covid interruptions that caused so much damage to their education, on top of the fact that the Clark County School District is ranked 50 in the country, we need all of the help we can get to stem the tide going on right now. What is your current passion pursuit? Nohra: I am catching my breath. The election was a big deal. I would like to engage in some kind of public service, probably helping and mentoring young entrepreneurs. From your unique entrepreneurial perspective, why is it critical to empower parents to be the number one teacher and advocate for their children? Nohra: It is amazing that we have to ask ourselves that question. Who is the most responsible for our children in this world other than their parents in terms of shaping their morals and values? What is more important than educating our children to thrive out there in the world as productive members of society? How many children do you have? Nohra: I have two beautiful, adult daughters. What is your parental superpower? Nohra: Reading their minds – so I don’t have to waste time figuring out what they are thinking! |
