The CCSD Board of Trustees will be holding their regular board meeting this Thursday, June 9th at 5:00 pm at the Greer Education Building located at 2832 E. Flamingo Road in Las Vegas.
The agenda for this meeting contains important items related to remediation rates in higher education, student discipline, revision of high school graduation requirements, dual enrollment and the salary agreement reached between CCSD and CCEA, ESEA and others.

Presentation and discussion on Focus: 2024 Indicators and Results pertaining to student discipline.
Item 4.02: 2024 Strategic Plan Update: NHSE Remediation Rates. Presentation and discussion on Focus: 2024 Indicators and Results pertaining to college remediation rates.
Item 5.01: Revision of HS graduation requirements and dual enrollment
State statute requires the Board of School Trustees adopt a Notice of Intent when it considers the adoption, amendment, or repeal of a policy or regulation. The Notice of Intent provides the public fifteen (15) days notice prior to final action by the board.
Comments by the public are welcome.
Item 5.04:
A public hearing on, discussion of, and possible action on approval of the new Memoranda of Agreements regarding the Negotiated Agreements between CCSD and the Unions to which the Negotiated Agreements apply regarding retention bonuses to full-time or regular employees, changes to the CCEA agreement with increases in teacher starting salaries, changes to the professional growth system and sick leave pool, elimination of spring surplus, additional amounts paid to health savings plans and a suspension of Article 18-9.
