Visit our website DONATE CCSD Board Meeting of the Trustees to Discuss Instructional Materials Tonight A Clark County School District Board Meeting of the Trustees will be held tonight at 5:00 pm in person and virtually. We are concerned about agenda item 5.03 and encourage all parents to watch the board meeting in an effort to review and understand the proposed changes of Regulation 6150: Instructional Materials. We are unaware of what the changes include and unfortunately they did not allow concerned parents to view the proposed changes online in advance-an action that would have created transparency with the public. The proposal was only available to be viewed in person during a limited amount of days and hours at the CCSD building on Sahara. It is important to be vigilant when it comes to what is being taught to our children at school and parents must be allowed to engage the process more easily from now on. They are the ONLY group currently scheduled for full-time learning. We are focused on making sure grades 6-12 will also have the opportunity to return full-time before the end of this year. We need to let Superintendent Jara and the CCSD Trustees know that hybrid learning is no longer necessary and it is not effective for many learners. The science is clear. The CDC has spoken.
