Powerful Parents and Community Members,
We can’t wait to see everyone tomorrow, Thursday August 27th, from 5:30-7:30pm at 5100 W. Sahara.
Please take a moment to review the guidelines for a safe and peaceful protest:
- U-shaped route map attached. These are the sidewalks we will stay on. Edmond to Sahara to the road that runs up the east side of the admin offices
- PARKING! You can park up and down Edmond or other roads where allowed. You may NOT park directly on Sahara or in the CCSD Administrative Building parking lot
- We must stay on sidewalks no matter what
- Do not go into the streets
- Do not block business or home driveways nor stand in landscaping
- We encourage parents with children to stay on one of the small streets on Edmund or on the east side of the CCSD building for safety as Sahara sidewalks can be dangerous.
- Please wear a mask
Volunteers will be wearing a P2P shirt along with a name tag if you have any questions. We will be speaking from Edmond on the west side of the building in a blue truck. You may decorate your vehicles and bring signs. Please make them appropriate! Use hashtag #saferinschools
