Final hours: Double your impact in 2021!

Dear Powerful Parents and Supporters,

It is hard to believe how far we have come in the past seven years as an organization. 2021 was a year of incredible growth for Power2Parent, and because of our generous supporters I believe 2022 will be our best year yet.

There are still a few hours for you to help us reach our year-end fundraising goal.

Because of a generous donor, any amount that you give for an end of the year contribution will be doubled, up to $100,000. That is twice the impact that your investment will have to empower families.

There is still time to help us get over the finish line! Please consider giving a year-end, tax deductible donation to empower parents.

We are incredibly humbled by the support we have received from families across the country who are waking up and realizing that the government is a poor substitute for families and parents must be empowered to advocate for children.

We won’t stop fighting for kids.

Thank you for a powerful 2021. We wishing you and your loved ones a very happy new year!

Your impact in 2021

Dear Powerful Parents and Supporters,

2021 was a year of incredible growth for Power2Parent. Thanks to you we accomplished more than we could have imagined. Partnering with passionate parents and community members, we accomplished great things this year:

◦ Helped open schools for in person learning in Clark County

◦ Launched P2P to national status with 12 chapters in 4 states

◦ Lobbied to protect homeschool laws in the 2021 Nevada legislative session

◦ Secured additional funding for the Opportunity Scholarship program and restorative language allowing siblings access to scholarship money

◦ Mobilized parents and community members to get to know their school board trustees and attend school board meetings to advocate for parental right to choose what is best for their child

◦ Trained hundreds of parents, grandparents, and community members through our Parent Leadership Academy (PLA) to effectively advocate for their kids

◦ Partnered with the Leadership Institute to bring School Board Campaign training to coach and mentor individuals wanting to run for school board trustee

◦ Partnered with Hope for Prisoners to help families in challenging circumstances provide their children with Christmas stockings.

All of our work is made possible because of our amazing Parent Union members and generous donors. It is our goal to grow our parent army in Nevada and continue our expansion nationwide so we can help others accomplish what we have done here in Nevada.

Because of a generous donor, any amount that you give for an end of the year contribution will be doubled, up to $100,000. That is twice the impact that your investment will have to empower families.

We are incredibly humbled by the support we have received from families across the country who are waking up and realizing that the government is a poor substitute for families and parents must be empowered to advocate for children.

We won’t stop fighting for kids.

Thank you for a powerful 2021. We hope you enjoy a wonderful holiday season with your friends and loved ones.

Take Advantage of a Matching Gift!

Empowered parents are the key to protecting kids
Dear Powerful Supporter,

Over the past two years, we have seen how many of our leaders view parents - as a threat, instead of the foundation of the family and society. Our leaders have forgotten that their role is to support parents, rather than usurp their role as decision maker in the most important areas in education and healthcare.

Power2Parent affects change in the way our law and policy makers view parental rights locally, and on a state and national level by helping parents and stakeholders organize and mobilize to bring the important decisions back to parents, rather than powerful special interest groups.

It is our passion and our mission to empower parents to advocate for their kids, inform parents what is being taught in our children’s schools, educate parents on how to help their children think critically, and organize an army of empowered parents, grandparents, and community members who mobilize to stand up for our kids.

We are sending this letter to our supporters because of an incredible giving opportunity. One of our generous donors is offering a challenge gift.

For every dollar donated to Power2Parent end of the year giving campaign, this donor will provide a 1:1 match up to $100,000!

This matching challenge will allow each donor to double their impact and each tax deductible donation will help us continue our work. There is so much more to do to protect parental rights in Nevada and across the country. Power2Parent now has over a dozen chapters in four states.

I want to personally invite you to help us meet our goal of $200,000 so we can continue our work of empowering parents to become better advocates for their children.

With gratitude,

Erin E Phillips
